“At what age do most people become old and what is the secret to staying young?”
This question was the deciding factor for the crowning of Femina Miss India World 2015. While all the finalists had their say in this matter, there was one common point that everyone raised. “Ageing is a state of mind, you start getting older when you start feeling old.” However in saying so, one cannot go against the biological clock which keeps ticking. So how does one stay young as they grow older? Here are a few tips.
1) Eat Right and Healthy: Making healthy food choices has significant effects on the way you look and feel. Make sure you are sufficiently hydrated to keep yourself up and running.
2) Pamper your Skin: Follow simple steps like washing your face twice a day, do a weekly exfoliation with a face scrub and using a moisturizer daily. This can help remove those dead cells and leave you with a fresh and glowing skin.
3) Take a Walk:A small stroll everyday can help mobilize your muscles and keep you fit and alert. This also keeps heart diseases at bay.
4) Explore New Avenues: You are never too old to learn. Today’s Information age has so many new things to offer. Find out what interests you and work at it. You will be amazed at how many things you can do.
